Communications & Business Development Associate

Grace Enterprises is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Communications & Business Development Associate to join our passionate team. This role is crucial in helping us amplify our mission to create social impact through supportive employment, in Nottingham and beyond. The successful candidate will focus on enhancing our communication channels, improving supporter engagement, and assisting our CEO in exploring new business opportunities that align with our values and goals. This role is facilitated by the Rank Foundation’s Time to Shine Programme, with a focus on developing leadership potential and talent.


Position Title: Communications & Business Development Associate

Location: Nottingham (city centre)

Working Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday-Friday

Terms: 12-month fixed-term contract

Remuneration: Real Living Wage


Key responsibilities include:

  • Create engaging content across various platforms, including social media, newsletters, blogs and websites

  • Develop the websites of Grace Enterprises and its social enterprises, implementing SEO improvements

  • Communicate effectively with donors, volunteers and other supporters

  • Conduct research to identify and evaluate business development opportunities

  • Collaborate with the CEO to scope out and develop new projects

 

The ideal candidate:

  • A fast learner with a desire to develop new skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment

  • Comfortable using a variety of digital tools

  • Mission-driven with a desire to further the charity’s aims
